Leader 9.0 CC, the dayboat that allows you to consider a small cruise

Following the launch of the Leader 9.0 WA at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival, Jeanneau presents the Walk Around model in a Central Console version. The Leader 9.0 CC will be on show in Cannes in September 2018. Presentation of this model with a varied program, capable of carrying 11 people on board and which allows for a short cruise of a few days.

The Leader 9.0 CC (Central Console) is the 6 e model of the Leader CC range, but also the largest model (9.12 m) and replaces the 8.5 CC, launched by the Vendée shipyard in 2011. This model takes up the hull of its "big" brother - the 9.0 WA - and is positioned as a boat with a multiple navigation programme. Thus, this family open will be suitable for day trips as well as fishing trips. It is also possible to equip it with storage nets, rod holders and other livewells..

In terms of engines, the Leader 9.0 CC is available in single and twin-engine versions and can receive up to 2x250 hp (twin-engine) and up to 350 hp in single-engine versions.

With a level deck plan, one should be able to move around easily on board and reach the different spaces on board. Starting with the forward cockpit with a U-shaped bench seat, a meridian against the console and the possibility of transforming the space into a large sundeck. Note that it is possible to raise the meridian so as to obtain direct access to the cabin, but also to ventilate and bring light inside.

The centre console is protected by a large hard-top that effectively protects the helm station, as does the wrap-around windscreen. There is a leaning-post with 3 seats facing the sea for comfortable sailing. The latter also contains an equipped outdoor galley (fridge, sink, gas stove...).

Finally, the rear of the cockpit has a central bench seat coupled with two folding benches in the bulwarks. A table can be installed there to create a cockpit saloon, but also a large sunbathing area. The aft cockpit opens onto a storage area that can accommodate air conditioning or a generator.

The bathing platform has two small skirts that frame the engine while facilitating access to the sea, but also access on board. Access to the cockpit is also secured by a gate. The freeboards appear to be of good height - increasing the feeling of safety - and the handrails are present on the gunwales from the middle of the deck to the bow, making it easy to move around.

Below deck, the Leader 9.0 CC has a central double bed and an independent toilet. A facility that makes it possible to spend a few nights on board.
