In this month of February 2018, the TripAdvisor travel platform reveals the ranking of the most beautiful beaches in France. As every year, this ranking is based on the comments and opinions of the site's users from all over the world. Many categories are referenced: hotels, attractions, restaurants and museums. The winners of the "Traveller's choice" are chosen according to the quantity and quality of the comments left by the community. In the case of beaches, the more quality comments a beach receives, the more likely it is to be selected.
This year, it is the beach of Sillon, in Saint-Malo that wins first prize. In 2017, it was The Basque Coast in Biarritz that had caught the attention of the Internet users. The Sillon beach was in 3rd position. On the podium, however, we find the same winners as last year, even if the ranking was reversed. Congratulations to Saint-Malo, Biarritz and Porto-Vecchio.
The Top 10 however keeps more or less the same French beaches, having only evolved positively or negatively in the ranking. Note the disappearance of L'Escalet in Ramatuelle (8th position in 2017) or Santa Giulia Beach (5th position) in favour of Saleccia (Corsica) and Wissant beaches.
