The Zodiac Nautic Group will be present at the Paris Boat Show from December 2 to 10 at the Porte de Versailles. Sébastien Grimaud, Communication Manager of the brand, explains what will be on the Zodiac/Bombard stand in 2017.

Which boats are exhibited on the Zodiac Nautic stand?

Zodiac will present 9 boats at the 2017 Paris Boat Show: 7 semi-rigid, 1 folding and 1 dinghy. The new boats will be the Open 7 and the pro range These were presented at the Cannes and La Rochelle Autumn fairs. At Bombard - which is part of the Zodiac Nautic group and offers boats complementary to Zodiac - 4 models will be on display.

We are bringing twice as many boats as in 2016, since we had 4 Zodiacs and 2 Bombards last year.

What are the facilities and activities planned to welcome visitors?

We will be installed on the same location as last year, at the entrance of Hall 3 on stand A4 with an additional 100 m2 of space, with a joint stand of Bombard and Zodiac.

16 Zodiac dealers and 8 Bombard dealers will be at the show throughout the event to advise and inform visitors and customers.

We have several "events" this year, starting with the release of the Zodiac Connected Box, a "waterproof and compact GPS plotter designed for a wide variety of boat tracking applications"

The concept boat eJET Avon (launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival) brand of the Zodiac Nautic group, will be exhibited in the "electric boat" area of hall 1 and not on our stand. We have been nominated for their Electric Boat Awards.

Zodiac Nautic is also competing in the "Nautic Innovation Awards" with these two products (eJET and connected box). And we are also indirectly nominated for the Nautic Innovation Awards through the semi-rigid concept with foils developed by SEAir. The company - of which we are partners - has developed a foils concept and will present its Flying RIB, a Zodiac boat with foils.

A concept of semi-rigid hydrofoil that is beginning to find its audience as the first orders are in progress.

We will also have a "My Boat Club" corner on our stand, the first motor boat rental club in France. "My Boat Club" is 10 bases in France and a fleet of 30 new boats, starting at 166 euros/month. Membership fees are free during the show.

Is it possible to visit the boats freely or is it necessary to book in advance?

We recommend that you come by appointment through your dealer, but the boats are freely available.

Why do you need to come to your booth?

After two years of recovery, Zodiac is running at full speed and wants to establish its world leadership at home, in France. Zodiac's offer includes 4 ranges of RIBs, which will be presented with 2 models (2 different lengths). The same will be true at Bombard, where the two ranges will be presented with two different lengths.

It will also be an opportunity for visitors to (re)discover the novelties in Paris!
