Zar Formenti presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival several new models were presented, including the ZAR 85 SL, the newcomer to the Sport Luxury series, and the new Zar Mini range. There were 4 models on display as a preview: the Zar Mini Air 8, the ZAR Mini Fun 7 as well as the Zar Mini Rib 10 and 16, the most "prestigious" series
The new Zar Mini series consists of 4 lines (Air, Alu, Fun and Rib) for a total of about 40 new models, from 2.40 m to 5.5 m in outboard version. This series is intended to be simpler, with more affordable prices. At the front, we find the distinctive sign of the Italian brand, namely a higher and wider front part.
The Zar Mini range is aimed at a wider audience, looking for a RIB of the same quality as the larger models. Thus, they can be used both as a small dinghy and as a tender.
What defines the range is above all its ease of assembly and storage, since they can be inflated by oneself and stored in small spaces on boats, in cars or even on motor homes.
The RIB line is a little more upscale than the rest of the Mini range and offers models with aluminum hulls. The lightness of the hull allows the boat to go fast and to lift off quickly to glide without difficulty, even with a low-power engine. The larger models are equipped with center consoles (which are also offered as an option on the smaller models) and aluminum lockers and can be equipped with upholstery.
All inflatable Zar Mini up to RIB 14 are made of PVC 1100 dtex material with a weight of 1050g/m2 and a thickness of 0.9 mm, composed of 5 layers. All inflatable ZAR miniTM foldable RIBs from RIB 15 onwards are made of PVC 1100 dtex material with a weight of 1500g/m2 and a thickness of 1.2 mm composed of 5 layers: three layers of PVC and two layers of textile.
All Zar Mini inflatables are also available in CSM (neoprene and hypalon).
Many options available
The owner can arrange his boat as he wishes. He can choose between a single V-shaped hull, a flat floor, a large bow locker or even rings on the transom for water games or water skiing (for models that can be equipped with an engine of at least 25 HP).
