The Nauticales of La Ciotat are organized by the Urban Community of Marseille Provence Metropole. The MPM Community gathers seven coastal municipalities and 24 marinas, which makes it the first French yachting center. This in-water show allows boaters from the Mediterranean basin, as well as visitors who have come down for the occasion, to discover and test at sea the models presented at winter shows (Nautic or Boot Düsseldorf).
The Nauticales are organized in the center of La Ciotat, on 30 000 m2 of exhibition space. 200 exhibitors will be present, 500 boats will be exhibited, including 200 afloat. In 2015, the Nauticales should keep its 4 e place of boat show in France with the ambition to become the 1 er exhibition in the Mediterranean.
The show, which takes place over 9 days, including 2 weekends, will represent all the essential nautical sectors: motor and sailing boats, light sails, inflatables and RIBs, classic boats, gliding village, fishing area, equipment, services, enginesâeuros¦
Rock Fishing Competition
For the 3 e once again, a Rock Fishing competition will be organized on Sunday, March 15. This technique of itinerant fishing with small lures, originating from Japan, consists in catching multiple species of live fish in harbors or rocky heaps along the sea. It will be an opportunity to gather the enthusiasts of this technique, but also to make discover this practice to the greatest number.
New: the Service Hall
After the creation of an Equipment hall in 2014, and given its success, this 13 e edition highlights the Services hall. This 250 m2 space will be located next to the Equipment hall and will allow to meet boaters and actors dedicated to navigation services. Visitors will be able to meet boat rental and co-browsing companies, find financing for the purchase of a boat or find navigation training organizations.
Jeremie Beyou, godfather of this 13 e edition
Three times winner of the Solitaire du Figaro and second in the Route du Rhum, Jeremie Beyou is a skipper to watch this year. He will have a busy schedule as he will try to win a 4 e title in the Solitaire, will participate in the Tour de France à la Voile and will train on board his Imoca Master Rooster for the next Vendée Globe.
