Pro & Mer is a forum for employment and training in the marine industry. It is an opportunity to meet the industrialists of the Naval, EMR, Oil and Gas sectors, shipowners, training organizations, temporary employment companies, employment and integration professionals, job seekers, students and employees in the companies. It takes place under the high patronage of the Minister of Defense, Jean Yves Le Drian.

- Shipbuilding and Repair
- Fishing and Marine Culture.
Several workshops are offered during this day such as a CV workshop, job interview assistance, job dating and conferences on the trades, illustrated by a 3D projection "The Sea and the trades".
Pro & Mer is organized by the "Employment, Training and Legal" commission of Bretagne Pôle Naval, in partnership with the Océans 21 program, the La Touline association, the Maison de l'emploi et de la formation professionnelle du Pays de Brest, as well as the Union Maritime de Brest et de sa Région, Brest Métropole Océane, the Union des Industries et Métiers de la Métallurgies, Channel Marine Academy, Channel MOR and the Technopôle Brest Iroise
Some figures on the 2013 edition
Last year, the Pro & Mer fair brought together more than 1,580 visitors and 60 exhibitors and offered 654 job offers and 1,800 training places. 73% of the visitors, who were looking for a job, had found a position or obtained answers to their questions. Finally, 87% of industrialists had found interesting profiles.
