Chinese Pavilion for the Grand Pavois de la Rochelle 2014

From September 17 to 22, 2014, the Grand Pavois boat show will welcome China to its show and in particular the city of Dalian, nicknamed the "Hong Kong" of the north. With the 3rd largest port in China, it represents a major asset for the boating world.

An exhibition to discover Asia

The Grand Pavois is putting Asia in the spotlight, and more particularly China, during its boat show which will take place from September 17 to 22. The small city of Dalian, located in the province of Liaoning, in the northeast of China, on the border with Korea will be represented and will allow visitors to discover the city that is nicknamed the "Hong Kong" of the North. Enclosed in the Gulf of Bohai, in the south of Liaoning, the port of Dalian is the third port of China. It will host the 7th edition of the "Dalian International Boat Show" from June 19 to 26. Thanks to an economic partnership between China and Charente-Maritime, French exhibitors will be present at the Asian show to promote Charente-Maritime companies.

During the Grand Pavois, for six days, Chinese professionals will present their know-how in the fields of boating, tourism, gastronomy and crafts. This is the way to make China known as a country in continuous growth which has great nautical ambitions.

Created in 1973, the Grand Pavois de la Rochelle is one of the great events of the nautical world since it is among the largest international boat shows afloat: 100 000 m2 of exhibition, 700 boats exhibited including 300 afloat, more than 860 international exhibitorsâeuros¦ Considered as the first nautical gathering of the season, this show, where thematic areas allow each one to find its universe, has the vocation to answer to the professionals and this, for many years. Always more imposing, the exhibitors as well as the visitors do not cease increasing from year to year.
