The NYX-Yacht shipyard is still little known to European yachtsmen, but its initial technical orientations are becoming clearer. With two models designed by Juan K, an architect renowned in the world of ocean racing, the shipyard's ambitions are clearly focused on performance and the open sea.

Veloce 40, the first regatta-oriented model
The first project to be unveiled is the Veloce 40, a 12.30 m sailboat optimized for the ORC B class. Designed by Juan K, this monohull has a displacement of 4 tons and a beam of 3.85 m. Draught reaches 2.50 m with a T-shaped keel, carbon sail and lead bulb.

The rig is entirely performance-oriented, with carbon mast and boom, and rod or carbon standing rigging. The announced program is clearly aimed at compensated-time racing, with no further details on interior fittings to be released at this stage.

Agile 38, a more versatile program
In a second phase, NYX-Yacht plans to launch the Agile 38, an 11.80 m yacht designed for coastal and offshore cruising. Heavier, with a displacement of 5.5 tons, it retains the same beam as the Veloce 40 but adopts a reduced draught of 2.15m. Its L-shaped keel rests on a steel sail with a lead bulb.

The rig comes in aluminum as standard, with a carbon option. The Agile 38 features a versatile sail plan including asymmetric gennaker, furling genoa and staysail. The interior can be fitted with two or three cabins, with CE certification in categories A, B or C, depending on the load carried.
At this stage, no launch or launch date has been announced for these two models, but the shipyard is already laying the foundations for a coherent range, between racing and fast cruising.
