4 XC H23 Sport Fish, a 6.60 m open designed for sport fishing

The 4 XC H23 Sport Fish is clearly oriented towards sport fishing. The design is structured around a central console, unobstructed circulation and specific equipment. A boat designed for action, without neglecting versatility.

The H23 Sport Fish marks the entry of the 4 XC range into a clearly identified segment, that of sport fishing opens around 6.50 meters. Developed in partnership with Ranieri for Honda Marine, this model is designed primarily for fishing use, with particular attention paid to on-board circulation, ergonomics and dedicated equipment.

A hull designed for fast sailing

At 6.60 m long and 2.50 m wide, the H23 Sport Fish is based on a rigid hull with a pronounced V, designed to ride the waves cleanly and maintain comfort at sustained speed. The HIS step hull, common to all 4 XC rigid models, is designed to reduce drag when sailing.

The principle is well known: the step creates a cushion of air under the hull, taking pressure off the stern, improving trim and reducing fuel consumption. According to Honda Marine, the gain is around 10 to 15% compared with a conventional hull. In practice, this translates into smoother sailing and a gradual build-up of power.

A clear deck, designed for fishing action

The deck layout features a central console, with deep, secure side decks. Traffic flows smoothly from the stern to the bow, an essential feature for anglers who often travel with rod in hand.

The freeboards are protected by padded areas, allowing thighs to be braced while fishing. At the stern, the bench seat is retractable, freeing up a fully usable cockpit. The objective is clear: not to impede movement and facilitate on-board fish retrieval.

Dedicated sport fishing facilities

The H23 Sport Fish comes standard with two insulated, oxygenated livewells, easily accessible without having to crouch. An appreciated feature in use. There are also several rod holders, two stainless steel and four flush-mounted, complemented by rear racks depending on configuration.

The boat is also equipped with a cockpit wash pump, an automatic and manual bilge pump, and a set of stainless steel handrails. Folding cleats at the bow prevent line snags, a simple but pertinent detail when fishing.

A functional and protected center console

The console features a helm station designed for seated or standing use. The leaning post accommodates two people and incorporates rod holders. At the front of the console, two additional seating positions allow safe navigation.

Inside the console, you'll find an electric marine toilet with black water tank, a configuration not often found on a boat of this size. This equipment enhances the model's versatility, particularly for family day trips.

A hard top with soft top is available on the model shown, offering effective protection from the sun without hindering on-board circulation.

Latest-generation Honda engines

The H23 Sport Fish is powered by a 200 hp Honda V6 outboard engine. This engine benefits from the brand's latest technological developments, notably in terms of electronic management, electrical production and navigation assistance.

The engine incorporates functions such as cruise control, trolling mode, automatic trim and optimized electrical load management, enabling all on-board equipment to be powered without difficulty. Early estimates point to a top speed of 38-39 knots, with a cruising speed of 25-30 knots.

A clear program: fishing first, versatility second

With a capacity for eight people, a 240-liter fuel tank and a 50-liter water tank, the H23 Sport Fish is primarily aimed at sporty coastal anglers. But its configuration also allows for more family-oriented outings, thanks to seating, a toilet and the possibility of transforming the bow into a sundeck. On the budget side, the visited model is available for ?88,950 incl. VAT with a Honda 200 hp.

Classed in category C, this boat is designed for coastal cruising, with a full range of standard equipment.
