The 41st edition of Le Mille Sabords took place from October 29th to November 1st, 2025, in a warm atmosphere despite a demanding market. With 70,000 visitors and over 500 boats on display, the second-hand boat show confirmed its role as a driving force for the Breton yachting industry.

The weather was just right at the Port du Crouesty, attracting curious onlookers and motivated buyers to the pontoons. With 510 boats on display, 374 from professionals and 135 from private buyers, the event once again demonstrated the appeal of the second-hand market, with 75% motor boats and 25% sailboats. Transactions were not slow in coming: 70 sales were concluded during the show, some in the very early hours. A case in point: two boats sold before 10:30 on Saturday morning, one to a professional, the other to a private buyer.

Easier access to real yachting

One of the major assets of Mille Sabords is its wide range of small boats, often at affordable prices. On the quayside, visitors are free to come aboard, with no need to make an appointment or queue, to discover at their own pace the boats exhibited by private owners and professionals. This direct contact, simple and immediate, remains one of the hallmarks of the show. This typically Breton open-air conviviality contributes to making the Mille Sabords a unique event on the French nautical scene.

A show that also takes an economic and social turn

Le Mille Sabords is no longer just a boat market. For the first time, the 2025 edition featured a forum dedicated to nautical professions, employment and training. This initiative was hailed by visitors and professionals alike, and reflects the organizers' determination to promote the entire maritime industry, both on land and at sea.

Alongside the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan, the show continues to promote sustainable, accessible and structuring boating for the region. The Port of Crouesty is a strategic location for Brittany's blue water economy.

Next appointment in 2026

Le Mille Sabords is already looking forward to welcoming visitors to its 42nd edition from October 29th to November 1st 2026. With an increasingly structuring position in the French nautical landscape, this second-hand boat show confirms that it has succeeded in defining a lasting identity for itself, adapting to a market that is in the process of redefining itself.
