Sailiz Inshore: overalls designed for women's coastal sailing

Designed for coastal sailing, the new Inshore salopette from Sailiz was developed based on feedback from female sailors. Lighter, more supple and still technical, it's aimed at those who sail regularly but don't sail on the high seas.

Equipment born of feedback from female sailors

Following the success of its Offshore dungarees, Sailiz has received a lot of feedback from women sailors highlighting a different need: less heavy, more accessible seawear, better suited to weekend or coastal sailing.

These testimonials guided the design of the new Inshore dungarees, developed around criteria of lightness, freedom of movement and thermal comfort. The aim: to meet the needs of the most common types of boating âeuros cÃ'tière, family outings or short cruises.

Technical design adapted to local navigation

The Sailiz Inshore features the three-layer structure of a top-of-the-range waterproof garment, with breathable laminate fabric and reinforcements in wear areas. The cut is more ergonomic than that of an offshore model, to facilitate mobility during repeated maneuvers. The seams are heat-sealed, and the fabric remains wind- and sea-spray-proof, while retaining excellent breathability.

Developments were carried out under real-life conditions, during coastal sailing and day trips.

Ergonomics and functional details

The dungarees feature a dropseat system that allows the garment to be removed without completely undressing, a detail often lacking on unisex models.

The design remains simple and functional, with lightened flex zones to reduce fatigue on long days at sea.

Sailiz has maintained the same ethical standards as for its offshore range:

  • bluesign and Oeko-Tex certified fabric,
  • absence of PFC,
  • european short-circuit production,
  • recyclable and repairable over the long term.

The approach aims to limit the environmental footprint while maintaining the garment's durability.

Dungarees for pleasure

Designed for women sailors in the English Channel, Atlantic or Mediterranean, the Sailiz Inshore is positioned as technical equipment for local sailing. It lies somewhere between classic deckwear and offshore ensembles, offering sufficient protection for active coastal sailing, while reducing the weight and overall cost of the equipment.

Availability and limited series

The Sailiz Inshore will be available from Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in limited production for its first series, to guarantee complete quality control. Priced at ?280 incl. VAT, it will be affordable without sacrificing technical quality. The first deliveries are expected before the end of the year. With the Inshore dungarees, Sailiz broadens its offer by responding to a long-neglected need: to offer a garment specifically designed for women's coastal sailing, which is both technical and durable, and adapted to the actual use of women sailors.

A product designed not to face storms, but to sail often, comfortably and confidently.
