Fountaine Pajot Power 80: First images of a 24-metre power catamaran

Fountaine Pajot unveils the Power 80, its new 24-meter motor yacht. This motor catamaran enters the category of large yachts, with an approach resolutely designed for long crossings. The first visuals confirm a clear move upmarket.

The Power 80 is Fountaine Pajot's new motor yacht, directly derived from the FP 80 sailing yacht. This motorized catamaran is aimed at those looking for ocean cruising in the comfort of a yacht over 23 meters. Whether it's the launch of a new range or a motorized version of an existing model, Fountaine Pajot's approach to this model is to move upmarket, while retaining the aesthetic codes of its series.

A format adapted to ocean cruising

Designed for long distances, the Power 80 can accommodate up to 12 passengers in high comfort. Its standard engine is based on two 480 hp blocks, with a 2 x 900 hp option for even greater performance. With almost 5000 l of fuel on board, this motor yacht is in the category of catamarans capable of sailing for several days non-stop. Even if cruising speeds have not yet been officially announced, the configuration allows us to envisage transoceanic crossings, notably to the West Indies or the North American coast.

Construction true to the yard's expertise

The design is by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design. The lines remain consistent with the brand's style, without ostentation, but with a clear focus on optimizing volumes and integrating glass surfaces. The shipyard has opted for an immersible aft platform, designed as a beach club. It also serves as a storage area for the tender and nautical toys. The whole is integrated into a main deck with over 250 m2 of entertaining space.

Modularity on board: up to seven cabins available

The Power 80 is available in several interior layout versions. Depending on the configuration chosen, the unit offers from 3 to 6 guest cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms. The Maestro VIP model features an owner's suite with whirlpool bath, VIP cabin, two double cabins and four additional bathrooms. The living spaces are treated with top-of-the-range materials: thick carpets, leather, varnished wood. Customers can also choose the location of the galley: in the passageway or on the main deck, depending on their sailing and entertaining habits.

Volumes and equipment worthy of superyachts

With its 400 m2 of total living space, the Power 80 far exceeds the usual standards of motor catamarans in its class. The 40 m2 flybridge, deck saloons and numerous sunbathing and relaxation areas make life on board a pleasure. On the technical side, the multimedia systems, the numerous storage spaces, the crew cabin for five sailors and the freshwater storage volumes (1600 l) make the Power 80 a boat designed for long, crewed cruises.
