The Beacher boatyard gathered its owners for the fifth edition of its biennial gathering. The event took place on Saturday August 23, 2025 on the Pereire sandbank, opposite the Dune du Pilat.

Nearly 250 participants took part in this event, which highlights the maritime identity of the Bay of Arcachon. A natural setting that lent itself to the gathering of a heterogeneous fleet, mixing old and new boats.

A unifying event

The biennial "Happy Beacher" event has established itself as a convivial event for boaters in the Basin. This year, 42 units took part in the gathering, from the first Beacher built in 1998 to the most recent models. The owner of No. 1 was particularly honored. The event was an opportunity for the brand to reunite with its customers and welcome newcomers in a spirit of community.

Production rooted in the Basin

Beachers have been built in Gujan-Mestras for over 25 years. In 27 years, 250 units have been built, 85% of which still sail on the Basin. The remainder of the fleet is divided between the Mediterranean (10%), the Atlantic coast north of the Basin (5%) and abroad (5%). The shipyard prides itself on local production and short supply chains, highlighting regional know-how.

The gathering on August 23, 2025 illustrates the vitality of this boating community and the shipyard's determination to preserve a strong link with its local area.
