Fenders, tenders and floats on inflatable boats are put to a severe test. Friction against docks, smoke deposits, hydrocarbons and carbon traces all become encrusted. This makes cleaning a real issue for boaters, who want to preserve the life of their equipment without damaging the materials.
Frequent soiling of fenders and attachments
Fenders are often the first to come into contact with docks. They therefore accumulate scuff marks, dock paint residues, oxide deposits and hydrocarbon stains. On tenders and RIBs, Hypalon, PVC or polyurethane surfaces also quickly become coated with carbon dust, atmospheric deposits and traces of fuel.
Choosing a non-aggressive cleaner for PVC and Hypalon
A good cleaning product must be able to dissolve deposits without attacking the surface. Strong solvents such as acetone or white spirit should be avoided on PVC. Plant-based cleaners, without petrochemical solvents, can remove grease without altering the grain of the material. This is the case with PARBATT' by Matt Chem, whose non-aggressive formulation respects the integrity of substrates, even after repeated use.
Simple application without special equipment
No dilution is required for cleaning: just spray directly onto the area to be treated, then wipe over with a soft sponge. No need for prolonged scrubbing. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water to restore the surface to its original appearance. This method is compatible with all common tire materials (Hypalon, PVC, PU).
A solution for sensitive areas of the boat
The solvent-free, biodegradable formulation makes these products ideal for use in port environments. Some ports prohibit the use of chemical degreasers or high-pressure washing. A plant-based cleaner, applied manually, limits the release of harmful substances into the aquatic environment.
