12 Heures Banque Populaire Grand Ouest: a festive nautical marathon in La Baule
On June 21, La Baule will host the very first edition of the 12 Heures Banque Populaire Grand Ouest, an unprecedented endurance race in sport catamarans open to both amateur and seasoned crews. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the relay teams will take turns in the bay of Le Pouliguen under the eyes of the public, with Armel Le Cléac'h kicking things off. On land, the beach and Place du Maréchal Leclerc will be alive with entertainment, fun challenges, educational stands and a friendly atmosphere. A sporting and popular event under the banner of the sea, sharing and collective energy.

One week after her launch, Armel Tripon's IMOCA Les P'tits Doudous was officially christened in Nantes, the birthplace of the project and the skipper's home town. A symbol of innovation and solidarity, this reused carbon sailboat embodies the commitment of caregivers to children undergoing surgery, supported by the association founded by Nolwenn Febvre. Surrounded by sponsors, caregivers and volunteers, the christening took place as part of Débord de Loire, with sponsorship in the image of the project: collective, sensitive and inspiring. From June 15, young sailors aged between 18 and 24 can apply to join the Filière d'Excellence Région Bretagne âeuros CMB, the benchmark in ocean racing training. A veritable springboard for a career in Figaro Bénéteau, this program has produced such prestigious names as Gabart, Simon, Laperche and Victor Le Pape, the latest winner. The 2025 winner will be chosen on November 28, following an evaluation phase in Port-La-Forêt. Commitment, solidarity and excellence will be at the heart of this selection, supported by Région Bretagne, CMB and PÃ'le Finistère Course au Large.
100 days to go until the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix, SailGP's first stop in Geneva
In 100 days' time, SailGP will make its first stop in Geneva (September 20-21, 2025), on the waters of Lake Geneva, with Mont Blanc and the Jet d'Eau as a backdrop. Twelve national teams will compete aboard F50s flying at over 100 km/h, for a spectacle never seen before in Switzerland. Supported by Rolex, title partner and host of the event, this Grand Prix promises total immersion at the heart of the race, with water-level grandstands, live music and top-of-the-range hospitality. A much-anticipated first for the Swiss team led by Genevan Sébastien Schneiter, who will be racing their home Grand Prix in front of some 7,000 spectators.

Erwan Jauffroy sets a new world record in foiling without sail or motor
One year on from his Toulon-Calvi crossing under wave power alone, Erwan Jauffroy is once again pushing back the limits of what is possible. The Toulon-born sailor, recently voted Sailor of the Year at the World Foiling Congress, set a new world record by covering 156.5 km between Martigues and La Croix-Valmer without sail, engine or stop. In 6 hours and 35 minutes, at an average speed of almost 24 km/h, he stayed on course despite cramps and extreme effort. Beyond the sporting feat, it's a strong message for ecological innovation at sea: "Yesterday it was impossible, today it's impossible on a board... tomorrow, maybe for ferries", says the enthusiast. Other challenges are already in the pipeline to keep the dream flying.

Holcim-PRB fields top-flight crew for Course des Caps
On June 29, the IMOCA Holcim-PRB will set sail from Boulogne-sur-Mer for the Course des Caps, a demanding 2,000-mile circumnavigation of the British Isles. Led by Nicolas Lunven, 6? of the last Vendée Globe, the yacht will feature an exceptional crew: Franck Cammas, Alan Roberts, Annemieke Bes and onboard reporter Anne Beaugé. While Rosalin Kuiper remains ashore to finalize her post-partum preparations, this event will serve as a trial run before The Ocean Race Europe. Holcim-PRB's boat has been optimized and the team's cohesion is already well established, and the team is looking forward to making its mark on the competition.

After shining in the Class40 class, Ambrogio Beccaria is embarking on a new IMOCA adventure with Allagrande Mapei, for The Ocean Race Europe 2025. Surrounded by seasoned sailors such as Thomas Ruyant, Morgan Lagravière and Manon Peyre, the Italian skipper is relying on an experienced team to tackle the challenges of a 2000-mile course across five seas. This project, supported by Mapei and accompanied by the Mapei Sport center and equipment manufacturer Musto, combines performance, innovation and transmission. A real springboard to the top level for Beccaria, determined to learn fast and spread team spirit on this strategic race.

The Odyssée ULTIM 2026, heading for the Mediterranean and the shores of Antibes

The Tour Voile 2025, a third edition faithful to the spirit of the renaissance
From June 25 to July 12, 2025, the Tour Voile will be held for the third time since its relaunch this yearâ??s event will continue to be driven by the values of training, diversity and commitment of young sailors aged 16 to 26. With a strategic course of 800 miles along the Atlantic arc âeuros from Larmor-Plage to Port-la-Forêt via Royan and Pornichet âeuros the crews will face 25 races mixing 24h offshore and cÃ'tières regattas. Aboard the Figaro Bénéteau 3, the official one-design until 2029, the sailors will sail in a demanding format that encourages learning and autonomy. More than just a competition, the Tour Voile is a springboard to top-level sailing and a civic-minded project, supported by the local authorities who are fully committed to the event, despite the tight budgetary situation.

Spain wins in New York, France confirms and SailGP show delights the crowds
The Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix lived up to all its promises this weekend on the Hudson, combining suspense, spectacle and commitment. Diego Botin's Spanish team dominated the event, winning the final against New Zealand and France, and taking the overall championship lead. Solid and consistent, the French SailGP team scored its second consecutive podium finish of the season, confirming its growing strength and ambition to reach the Grand Final. The New York Grand Prix, marked by extreme sailing conditions and a record crowd of over 10,000 spectators, was also the scene of a fine inclusion initiative supported by Les Bleus, Accor and the Inspired by Kylian Mbappé association. Next up: the European tour, where every point will count in the race for the world title.

A promising first medal for the Mourniac - Retornaz duo

The New Caledonia Groupama Race 2025 enters the home stretch
With just a week to go before the start of the race, tension is mounting around the New Caledonia Groupama Race, which will set sail from Le Rocher à la Voile on June 15. The 24 crews taking part are preparing to tackle the 654 nautical miles around Grande Terre, between reefs and UNESCO-listed lagoons. At the same time, the festivities will be in full swing ashore, with the CNC Sailing School and the 3 Mâts at the heart of the entertainment, concerts and briefings. From June 11, the Sunset Regatta will kick off the festivities, before an intense week to be followed live via BCI tracking or from the Virtual Regatta.
France's SailGP team takes IBKM's youngsters to New York with Kylian Mbappé and Accor
On the occasion of the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix, eight young people from the "Inspired by KM" association founded by Kylian Mbappé enjoyed an exceptional immersion experience alongside the French SailGP team. The program, made possible thanks to a partnership with Accor, combined sporting, cultural and professional discoveries: an introduction to sailing, a visit to the French technical base, a sports marketing course at NYU, immersion in the hotel business and participation in sustainable development events.
