Honda diversifies its offering with two European partner shipyards

For its 4XC Design range, Honda Marine has chosen to partner with two established European players: Ranieri International for rigid hulls and Altamarea for RIBs. Ranieri, based in Soverato, Calabria, produces around 500 units a year, and stands out for its step hulls. Altamarea, for its part, has been designing its boats in-house since 2003, with a focus on performance and safety.
A wide range of models, from 5.55 m to 8.45 m
The range covers eight models from 5.55 to 8.45 metres, divided between the HA20, HA23 and HA27 RIBs and the H19CC, H22CC, H26CC, H22SD and H26SD rigid hulls.

Each model is available with a choice of Honda engines ranging from 40 to 400 hp. These engines incorporate in-house technologies such as BLAST for acceleration, PGM-FI for fuel injection, ECOmo for economy at steady speed, and VTEC for revving up. From 115 hp upwards, electric drive is available on models H19, H23, H26 and their derivatives.
Ready to sail" packages

Each unit is factory-assembled with the appropriate motorization and delivered ready for use. This procedure provides enhanced quality control and limits post-delivery interventions, contributing to a very aggressive price positioning.
Boats in the 4XC Design range come with above-average standard equipment, as well as a wide range of options. This allows buyers to tailor their unit to their needs, while benefiting from the Honda warranty for up to 10 years, depending on conditions.

This collaborative strategy enables Honda Marine to enter a new segment with homogeneous boats tailored to the expectations of pleasure boaters. The industrial approach guarantees consistent production quality, and the technical offering adapts to a variety of practices. It remains to be seen how the 4XC Design range will evolve in a competitive market where alliances are becoming strategic.
