A tribute to the region and its thousand-year-old history

This year, the Semaine du Golfe (Gulf Week) spotlights the megaliths of Morbihan, a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status. The "p1" exhibition reveals the archaeological wealth of the region, where menhirs, dolmens and tumuli are intimately linked to the maritime landscape.

These monuments, sometimes submerged, bear witness to the ancient cohabitation between man and the sea, in a living dialogue with the surrounding nature.

A popular, intergenerational and sustainable festival

Accessible to all, the Semaine du Golfe is also an exemplary environmental event. Soft mobility (bicycles, free shuttles), selective sorting, awareness of Gulf preservation and a ban on personal drone flights are all on the program.

The event is supported by over 3,500 volunteers, without whom this great maritime festival could not exist. Their commitment illustrates the vitality of a region deeply attached to its maritime roots and the transmission of these traditions.
