For the past five years, Liberty Pass has been transforming access to yachting with its boat sharing model. Faced with the rising costs and constraints of traditional ownership, over 1,000 subscribers have already adopted this intelligent solution, reconciling passion and rationality. This enthusiasm has prompted Liberty Pass to organize the first show dedicated to Boat Sharing, to be held in Bandol from May 9 to 11, 2025.

A new approach to yacht ownership

Born in 2020 during the Covid crisis, Liberty Pass offers a modern alternative to traditional boat ownership. Boat owners see boat sharing as a way of rationalizing their investment, which is often heavy and unpredictable. With the rising cost of berths and maintenance, boat sharing is becoming an obvious way to optimize use and control expenses.

An offering tailored to new needs

The Liberty Pass community is made up mainly of enthusiasts under the age of 60, committed to the rational use of their boats. Each new subscriber signs up for a twelve-month commitment, on a classic offer or on a VIP offer, including a marina service and a premium concierge service. For owners, the Liberty Pass service is a real relief, as they retain control of their boat, while optimizing its use and avoiding unpleasant surprises.

Technology for confidence

To ensure peace of mind for all concerned, Liberty Pass relies on advanced technology: a mobile application facilitates check-in, document management and exit tracking. Each user evaluates his or her exit, reinforcing the notion of accountability. What's more, an on-board black box monitors engine status, energy and any anomalies, such as water in the hull or bumps, in real time.

A growing network

Historically focused on motorboats (85% of the fleet), Liberty Pass is now beginning to welcome sailboats, with an approach adapted to a public that has historically been more cautious. After consolidating its presence in France, this year the company is opening its concept in Spain, with five to six partner ports ( Denia , Roses , Palma de Mallorca minorca...).

The 1 er salon du Boat Sharing in Bandol May 9-11, 2025

With the organization of the first show dedicated to boat sharing, Liberty Pass confirms its determination to democratize a new way of experiencing the sea. Over 25 units will be on display, from RIBs to cruising catamarans. Entry is free of charge, and all you need to do is register in advance at https://www.libertypass.club/salon-boat-sharing/ . A convivial cocktail party will be held every evening at 5:30 pm, providing an opportunity to discover our offers in France, Switzerland and Spain, and to share experiences with customers who have already won over their business.

More than ever, the future of yachting lies in shared use, cost control, and an enriched, empowered boating experience.
