A new way to access water independently

With its simple online booking system, Vaguelette allows users to unlock their equipment using a code sent by e-mail. Each station is equipped with paddles, kayaks, life jackets and paddles. The equipment is ready to use, with no on-site staff, and rates vary from 15 to 35 euros depending on duration.
A booming offering at eight sites in Brittany

Designed to blend into natural, easily accessible environments, Vaguelette stations are now installed in eight strategic locations:
-
Assérac (Loire-Atlantique): 3 paddles available between salt marshes and calm beaches.
-
Guipry-Messac (Ille-et-Vilaine): 3 paddles and 2 kayaks on the banks of the Vilaine, a stone's throw from the greenway.
-
Étang de Bétineuc, in Saint-André-des-Eaux (Côtes-d'Armor): 2 paddles and 2 kayaks at a well-known leisure center.
-
Le Minihic-sur-Rance (Ille-et-Vilaine): 3 paddles to explore the Rance on your own.
-
La Chapelle-Chaussée (Ille-et-Vilaine): 3 paddles available on the pond near the village.
-
Montauban-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine): 3 paddles set up on the edge of the Noës lake.
-
Saint-Germain-sur-Ille (Ille-et-Vilaine): 2 paddles on the Ille-et-Rance canal.
-
Saint-Domineuc (Ille-et-Vilaine): 3 paddles installed on the same canal.
Each site is accessible on foot or by bike, often in the immediate vicinity of cycle routes or TER (regional train) stations, as part of a soft mobility approach.
A response to environmental and tourism issues
Vaguelette is positioned as a sustainable alternative to traditional rental structures. With no heavy infrastructure or staff, the resorts adapt to seasonal needs and local uses. They encourage the gentle discovery of Brittany's natural heritage.
With its first eight stations up and running, Vaguelette offers a practical solution for free navigation, whether you're a local or just passing through. The initiative, supported by a Rennes-based company, is set to expand to other sites in Brittany and elsewhere. A new way of gliding, accessible, autonomous and respectful of the environment.
