Unlike its 37-foot sibling, the Yot 41 takes the central circulation approach. On the Yot 37, access to the foredeck is via the open gangways on each side. On the 41, access to the forward cockpit is through the middle, as on bowriders. It's both simple and reassuring when, as a good father, you see your offspring on board.
A central passageway

This central corridor distributes the entire boat. Starting from the bow, we discover a large forward cockpit. This is designed around two bench seats, ideal for sunbathing. The front of the boat, between the catamaran's two hulls, is reserved for the windlass and anchor locker. The locker can also be used as a table for an aperitif, with glass holders all around.

The passage to the cockpit, between the two consoles, is closed by a low door and a windscreen. This will be particularly useful on a windy day to protect the crew. Just behind the windshield are the companionways to the hulls.
A cabin in every hull

On this catamaran, the sleeping areas are symmetrically located in each hull. As you go down, you arrive in a beautiful cabin with a double berth forward, while the aft reveals a toilet (WC and separate shower). There's no problem of headroom in these hulls, and ventilation is well thought out with opening deck hatches. In the cabins, large side portholes integrated into the hull provide plenty of light.
A helm station protected by a large windscreen

Just behind the two companionways is the helm and watch station. There are 4 seats facing the road. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning. On starboard is the helm station, with space for 2 12" screens and a joystick. Opposite on port side, there are two seats facing the storage lockers.

Just aft is the galley, with a chaise longue for sunbathing on the port side. The L-shaped galley is well equipped with fridge, ice maker and grill. There's also a sink and a wastebasket accessible from the worktop.
A huge square

Continuing aft, we find the centerpiece of this catamaran. The saloon is also divided in two by the central passageway. On either side are a table and 2 bench seats. But this table, when lowered, transforms the space into a large sunbathing area.
Once at anchor, the crew can lower the bulwarks to increase the surface area of the cockpit. In fact, the boat's width of 4.49 m can be increased to 5.82 m by opening the bulwarks. A great surface area for enjoying the sun and sea.
2 x 300 hp standard

We reach the transom, where two 400hp Mercury outboards sit atop an electric bathing platform. These V10s represent the maximum power for this Yot 41. As standard, 2 x 300 hp are available. This 12.57 m overall catamaran designed by J & J design has a base price of ?475,000 ex VAT. The version we just visited is priced at ?767,020 ex VAT, with all options.
