More advanced technology for easier navigation
Suzuki Marine has announced the arrival of new versions of its DF250, DF225 and DF200 V6 engines, scheduled for September 2024. These engines, already renowned for their high-torque performance, now benefit from a number of technological improvements. Key innovations include keyless start and automatic trim, making it easier to reach top speed while optimizing fuel consumption. In addition, the new troll mode allows precise control of engine idle, essential for delicate maneuvers or trolling.
Simplified engine management for yachtsmen
Suzuki's new generation of V6 engines also includes the mobile diagnostics plus system, enabling users to check engine data directly from their smartphone before heading out to sea. This brings additional peace of mind, offering the possibility of anticipating any technical problems. In addition to these features, the engines retain already well-established strengths, such as the self-adjusting timing chain and offset system, which increase overall durability and efficiency.
Tax benefits for buyers
Suzuki's new 3.6-liter V6 engines offer a significant tax advantage: thanks to their displacement, they are exempt from administrative taxes, a decisive factor for many yachtsmen and professionals. With nearly 1,500 engines sold over the last ten years, Suzuki Marine France aims to double this figure with this new range. The models will be available in optional black or white versions, offering additional customization.
