Realm 44, Rand Boats presents its largest Sport-Yacht

Three years in the making, Rand Boat will present the Realm 44 in winter 2024. This Sport-Yacht is the shipyard's largest model, but also features 100% electric drive, like every other Rand Boat model.

The largest model in the range

At 13.50 m long, the Realm 44 takes the Danish shipyard past the 10 m mark. This walkaround cruiser takes up the shipyard's characteristic lines, with a hull ensuring smooth sailing, a high freeboard for safety and a deck layout protected by a large T-top.

A spacious exterior

Outside, the seaward-facing sundeck features an attractive bathing platform, the central U-shaped sofa can seat up to 11 people, and the galley behind the helm station is fully equipped. The cockpit, presented as ergonomic and protected by a full-width T-top, features three seats and a convertible sunroof. Under the 5-person sundeck, a tender garage and storage area are easily accessible. A ladder between the engine areas provides access to a second garage for water toys, for example. The foredeck also features a second solarium.

100% electric power

The Realm 44 is also the first model to be offered with a 100% electric power option. Solar panels guarantee sufficient autonomy to dispense with a generator, with solar output of up to 1.1 kWh. The 2 x 300 KW E-Drive motors coupled to a 440 kWh lithium battery provide a range of around 250 miles at a speed of 6 knots, and a top speed of 25 knots.

Oscar Kai Rand, CCO explains: "We still offer electric alternatives for most sailing segments. All our models are specifically designed and optimized for electric propulsion systems, reducing energy consumption at normal sailing speeds of 0-30 knots. While it's thrilling and exciting to cruise at speeds in excess of 45-50 knots, which most RAND models can do, most boaters typically cruise at 20-30 knots."

Six traditional powerplants are also in the catalog, from 2x350 hp to 2x440 hp inboard, with maximum speeds between 39 and 44 knots. The Realm 44 can also be fitted with 2x400 or 2x600 hp Mercury outboards for a maximum speed of 43 knots in the first configuration and 50 knots in the second.

Prices for the Realm 44 start at ?499,900 ex VAT.
