Sailteck, an electronic compass for light sailing

The founder of the Tacktick brand is back with a new model of electronic compass for light sailing. It features large, highly visible digits with 30 and 20 mm characters on 2 lines. This size is the maximum accepted by class rules. So this magnetic compass, which has no GPS, is perfectly suited to dinghy racing. The 3 buttons on the top drive the stopwatch, which can be easily reset, even during the countdown period. The compass comes with a base for fixing around the mast at ?395.

NKE, a HR II wind sensor

Meeting the requirements of the most demanding projects, mainly in ocean racing yachts such as IMOCA, Class40, Ocean Fifty and even Ultim', but also for the America's Cup, NKE wind sensors have become benchmarks. Available from March 2024, the new version of the HR wind sensor (version II) incorporates the following evolutions:

  • Improved mechanical strength
  • Increased measurement resolution
  • Faster calculation
  • 3D attitude sensor integration

This new sensor will be installed on the entire Carbowind, Aluwind and AG ranges. It will be used on NKE machines via the Topline protocol.
