A live sounder accessible to all
In July 2024, Lowrance launched the Eagle Eye, an all-in-one live sounder designed to make technology previously reserved for professionals accessible to amateur anglers. This new equipment combines cutting-edge features, such as targeted downward and forward views, in a single sounder that also integrates CHIRP and DownScan Imaging technologies. Priced at ?1,438.80, Eagle Eye is positioned as a complete solution for improving fishing technique, by enabling live observation of fish reactions to lures.

Features optimized for recreational fishing
The Eagle Eye is distinguished by its smooth imaging, offering resolution close to that of Lowrance's ActiveTarget 2, while remaining easy to use. Its 9" IPS screen ensures optimum visibility even in bright sunlight or with polarized glasses. In addition to sonar views, the device integrates C-MAP mapping with Genesis Live, which enables real-time bathymetric charts to be created. This option is invaluable for discovering new fishing spots. The newly designed rotating connector system facilitates installation and removal, making this sounder particularly suitable for small craft such as kayaks.

A solution designed for versatility and simplicity
Eagle Eye meets anglers' needs with intuitive operation. The automatic setting eliminates the need for constant manual adjustments, while the new color palettes allow the display to be adapted to current conditions. By combining FishReveal and DownScan technologies, the device helps to better distinguish fish from underwater structures. Finally, SD card compatibility offers upgrade and recording options, enhancing the product's versatility.

A step forward for recreational fishing
With Eagle Eye, Lowrance offers a balanced solution between accessibility and performance. Designed to offer anglers an optimized experience, this all-in-one fishfinder opens up new perspectives for those who want to improve their technique while exploring uncharted fishing grounds.
