Reinventing the world of jet-skiing

Searider is a new French brand that combines the world of motorcycles with that of water sports. Its designer, Flavien Neyertz, has combined his love of motorcycles, particularly motocross, with his passion for board sports to reinvent the world of jet-skiing. After years of development, he has unveiled a range of electrically-powered jet-skis.

At the intersection between a motorcycle and a watercraft

These hybrid machines, a cross between a motorcycle and a watercraft, are available in three versions to suit every level. The engine blocks are manufactured by Cblt Motors, the group that owns the new Searider brand. The group has developed the entire propulsion chain in-house, from the electric blocks to the electronics and batteries. The cells are supplied by Murata of the Sony Group.

The powertrain includes all-electric dual-motor models, combined with a battery capacity of 3.2 kWh per unit.

The Searacer is designed for high-performance enthusiasts, and is inspired by the world of motorsports. With an installed power of 33 kW, equivalent to 45 hp, it boasts a top speed of 77 km/h, with a range of 50 min and a weight of just 65 kg. Its futuristic styling is very reminiscent of a motorcycle, however, and it costs ?27,950.

A third model to come

Finally, the Seacross is an intermediate model that will be launched at the same time as the other models, in May 2024. According to its designers, this model will be more freeride-oriented, with a wider steering angle and a lower top speed, but with more torque, offering more responsive acceleration. It should be easier to handle and more fun to ride.
