Special Edition / TBS Speedcraft, a state-of-the-art deck shoe

Ultra-technical, comfortable, lightweight and, above all, very grippy on deck, the Speedceaft from TBS combines all the features you'd expect from a good deck shoe. Let's take a look at a model that's just right for regatta sailors and yacht club regulars alike.

Born from sport, TBS, a French Shoes & Textiles brand belonging to the Eram Group since 1978, continues its transformation. Reaffirming its identity by refocusing on its sporting heritage, the brand capitalizes on its technical imagination with strong innovations and its "Change For Good" commitment to sustainable and responsible fashion.

A sporty deck shoe

Inspired by its iconic boat shoe, the brand is launching a new revisited model for 2023: the Speedcraft. Born of the sea, but designed for a life on the move, this men's model, ideally worn barefoot, is a condensed blend of technical features and innovations that brings together all the functions designed for the daily life of marine athletes, but also adapted for the life of today's urban men.

A concentrate of technology

For this launch, TBS collaborated with Chamatex, a French company from Ardèche specializing in technical weaving, particularly for the sports, lifestyle and luxury markets. Using their Matryx® material, a high performance material for sports and leisure brands. TBS is the first so-called nautical brand that the company works with.

A material that breathes and dries quickly

This innovative French Matryx® material guarantees stability, support and resistance. Unlike fully coated textiles, each thread is individually coated. During intense efforts or in daily life, the feet breathe and remain dry: perspiration is evacuated. Thus this fabric provides breathability and comfort. A strong technical innovation that combines with style and comfort. A pair of shoes that will follow you from the sea to the city.

Available in 3 colors

"With the Speedcraft, we wanted to make a strong comeback to our historical playground: the sea. The angle of attack of the project was innovation, both through the Technigrip® technology of our sole, adapted to the practice of boating on wet decks, and also by associating an extremely innovative and French material, the Matryx®... "explains Franck Cardin, TBS shoe collection manager.

The Speedfraft is available in three colors (black, blue or grey) at a recommended retail price of 150 euros.
