Zeus S, a B&G chartplotter that's even more intuitive to simplify navigation

How do you make a tracker even more attractive? The developers at B&G answer this question by improving the user experience with an easy-to-use operating system. This new software is available in the latest range of Zeus S trackers.

If we compare the different brands of plotters, each one has, except for a few details, the same characteristics. Today, the difference is no longer in the size of the screen, its readability in sunlight or its number of pixels. Similarly, connectivity, for everyone in NMEA 2000 and Ethernet, opens the field of possibilities to all. For these brands, it is therefore necessary to find other ways to promote their products.

A further simplified operating system

Then there's the software part, the famous menus that give access to the unit's various functions. Navico's Simrad, B&G and Lowrance teams have a great track record in this area. With the new Zeus S series, they've taken another step forward.

Sailing" functions

B&G devices are dedicated to the practice of sailing. Specific functions such as laylines or the various screens representing the vital elements of navigation such as the famous SailSteer screen, give information to sailors for cruising as well as for racing.

From 7 to 12 inches

Thus, the Zeus S available in 3 sizes of 7, 9 and 12 inches will fit well on all sailboats. Modes dedicated to cruising or racing provide information quickly depending on the situation. Warning systems linked to the cartography avoid collisions and grounding. B&G has also worked hard on the setup system of its devices, which is done by answering simple questions.

An app for mobiles

An application available for free on mobiles allows you to plan trips, consult routes and manage waypoints from home, then synchronize them once on board.

The Zeus S is available to boaters from 1,008 euros including tax, at the 2023 rate for the 7-inch screen.
