Kraken, the Garmin electric motor for sea fishing

In 2019, electronics manufacturer Garmin launched its Force electric motor. Intended primarily for fishermen, these motors can be fitted to rowboats and other bass-boats designed for freshwater fishing. But for sea-going vessels with taller bows, these motors were unsuitable. The Force Kraken fills this gap, with shaft sizes of 63, 75 and 90 inches. With its brushless motor, it develops a thrust of 45 kg at 36 volts or 36 kg at 24 volts. Connected to the on-board system with foot pedal and wireless remote control, this Garmin motor becomes a formidable weapon for managing steering and drift speed.
The Kraken should be available from October 2023 in black and white, starting at 4499.99 euros.
