A versatile and sporty program
French manufacturer Iguana Yachts, a specialist in amphibious boats (the models are equipped with tracks that allow them to land easily on any type of terrain), has added a sporty model to its classic range. Designed on the same 9.2 m hull, this new boat is intended to be versatile. The program includes water sports, speed runs or family outings.
A classic layout
Its deck layout offers a wide range of seating options: a bench seat at the rear with backrest, a bench seat opposite the pilot seats and a double bench seat in front of the console. The central cockpit is protected by a windshield without pillars and can accommodate a pilot and co-pilot. As an option, the Iguana Sport can be equipped with a hard top, and one of the first two models to be built will be equipped with a carbon hard top.
56 knots maximum speed
It can receive up to 2x450 HP which should give it a maximum speed of 56 knots. Regarding the mobility on land, the Iguana Sport receives a thermal or electric engine.
Options and pricing
In addition to the protection of the cockpit, several options are available: hull and upholstery colors, refrigerator and freezer
The first two models will be launched at the end of May 2022 and delivered directly to the United States. So it's not certain that we will be able to discover this new model at a French autumn show.
