A mix between the Squadron and Targa ranges
The British shipyard Fairline unveils the first sketches of its first sportbridge yacht, the Phantom 65. Launched in June 2022, it will be unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September of the same year. This sporty and modern model with slender lines, almost 20 meters long, draws its inspiration from the Targa 65, the latest Fairline model, with which it shares the hull.

This new model adopts the volume offered by the Squadron range and the sleek design of the Targa range. From the outside, the large hull and superstructure windows are notable, as is the glass sunroof to bring maximum natural light inside. The Phantom 65 has a tender garage that can accommodate a William 345 SportJet and offers two engine options: two Caterpillar C18-1150s for a top speed of 31 knots or two Caterpillar V12 C32-1622s with a top speed of over 35 knots.

The cockpit, the central point of circulation on board
The cockpit is totally open on the main deck with a large bay window that opens completely. The cockpit is completely open to the main deck with a large bay window that opens completely. It houses a beautiful salon with its dining table and a large sunbathing area at the rear facing the sea and overlooking the bathing platform from which you can access the tender garage. It is also from the cockpit that one accesses the sportbridge, an outdoor living area integrated into the roof with a steering position protected by a windshield, a U-shaped bench to keep the pilot company on the starboard side and a dining area on the aft with a bar.

"This sportbridge model offers the space of a flybridge combined with the sportiness of the Targa range" comments Paul Grys, President and CEO of Fairline.
Still from the cockpit, the well-protected side decks lead to a beautiful front deck with a nice solarium.

Meals or relaxation on the main deck
The main deck offers several living areas, with flush access from the cockpit. The galley is installed on the port side aft and offers all the modern equipment found on this size of boat today: fridge/freezer, oven, cooktop, sink, etc. It faces a dining area on the starboard side with a large L-shaped sofa and a folding table. The slightly elevated Euro forward space is dedicated to the lounge and relaxation with several sofas. The spacious cockpit with a very large dashboard offers two seats enveloping pilot and co-pilot.

Two lower deck layouts
The lower deck layout is offered with three or four cabins. The mid-master stateroom features a king-size bed, desk, ample storage to port and starboard and a settee to port. Guest cabins offer flexibility with an electric twin-to-double conversion option.
