VanDutch 32, the new elegant entry-level model

The VD32 is the new model in the VanDutch range, which was acquired by Italian company Cantiere Del Pardo in June 2020. It features the range's characteristic sleek and elegant lines and offers even more deck space for a relaxing day at sea.

A new entry-level model

The VanDutch brand, acquired in 2020 by Cantiere Del Pardo, is getting a new entry-level model. The VanDutch32 succeeds the VD30, gaining in length and width for more living space: 9.81 m long compared to 9.56 m for the previous model and 2.90 m wide compared to 2.80 m before. Its draught remains similar, 0.90 m, to allow it to get as close to the coast as possible.

A distinctive design

The VD32 retains the minimalist, clean lines characteristic of the range, including a large synthetic teak deck, separated from the cockpit by an imposing reverse windshield. It has a new hull, keeping the marked chine that goes up to the bow, and is equipped with a spray rail to deflect the spray. The freeboard height has also been increased to ensure more safety on the gangways that must be used to access the bow.

A cockpit dedicated to relaxation

With larger dimensions than the VD30, the VD32 offers more deck space, although the layout remains relatively similar. A total of 8 people can be accommodated on board. The large bathing platform is overlooked by three large sunbeds with removable backrests to further expand the relaxation area.

The L-shaped bench seat on the starboard side can also be fitted with a dining table. The piloting area has evolved compared to the previous model. There are now two single seats - pilot and co-pilot - as well as an all-new instrument panel and new electronic instruments. As standard, the VD32 receives a 12-inch Garmin multifunction screen and an optional 16-inch version that includes a home automation system to control the lights, stereo or air conditioning. The mechanical key has also been replaced by a digital key operated from the navigation screen.
