Royale Cabin, the Foiler is equipped with a cabin for more comfort

Royale Cabin is the latest model from the Dubai shipyard Enata, builder of the Foiler, a luxurious 31-foot dayboat equipped with retractable foils. This new model is now equipped with a cabin for even more comfort.

A cabin at the front

After the launch of the Foiler in 2018 and three deck variations in 2019, the flying motorboat is now available in a cabin version. Unlike the open model, the foredeck now has a cabin where there is a fridge and a minibar, as well as a bathroom. To bring light to the interior, two large windows are placed on each side of the bow. The bow itself houses the anchor in a hatch, which deploys hydraulically.

The windscreen is now directly integrated into the roof, whereas it used to encircle the cockpit. The intuitive dashboard offers a double bench seat for accompanied steering. The rest of the deck offers plenty of seating, including a double bench seat at the stern.

Foils to fly over water

The technology developed by the manufacturer allows the foiler to rise and fall gently on its foils. The latter are also retractable to sail in an archimedean manner. A total of 132 intelligent sensors permanently monitor all the boat's equipment: foil, trim and engine to focus solely on the sensation of steering.

The boat is made of carbon and has two custom-built V8 diesel engines. It can reach a maximum speed of 28 knots without foils and 40 knots when flying 1.5 m above the water. The take-off speed is about 12 knots. When foiling at 30 knots, fuel consumption is 2L per mile with a 300L fuel tank (600L optional).

Other options on the Royal Cabin include underwater lights and a ski pole for water sports. A towing point now allows the Foiler to be towed on a superyacht, when used as a tender.
