Founded in 1975, the American company JL Audio has been able to think, design and manufacture products that meet the requirements of audiophiles. Indeed, the CEO of JL Audio is none other than a sound engineer. His design choices are based on his extensive experience with loudspeakers, mechanics and the installation of audio products. This accumulation of experience explains the excellence of JL Audio products.
Today based in Miramar, Florida, they are present in many European countries and on more than 70 brands of boats around the world, from tugboats to sports boats and fishing boats.
Patents, quality standards and purity of sound
In 2019 the M6 range was released. It includes coaxial loudspeakers, subwoofers as well as enclosed speakers, all adapted to the marine environment. The M6 products are elegant, durable and above all offer high quality sound, with the possibility to set up the entire system. After years of research and development, the acoustics of the M6 are pure, even outdoors. The speakers are designed to reproduce the most powerful bass with low sound distortion and uniform diffusion of the different frequencies.
Rigorously tested by JL Audio, the selected materials are UV and saltwater resistant. And, to make its products even more reliable, JL Audio has gone so far as to reinforce the protection of each tweeter with an electrical protection circuit that minimizes the risk of equipment failure.
Coaxial loudspeakers, on the other hand, have their own system of motors, suspensions and cones thought and designed by the company for its products. Different technologies that, when added together, offer accurate sound and durable products.
The durability of the products is also due to the company's testing strategy. Since some JL Audio technologies are patented, the majority of the manufacturing and assembly of the products is done in their Florida or Arizona plants, which ensures, through high quality standards and numerous tests, an irreproachable output of the product.
