Gift idea for children, a trimaran toy made in France in recycled plastic

While most toys are made in China, Les Mini Mondes is launching models designed and made in France. A trimaran arrives to take its place at the foot of the 2020 Christmas tree.

Les Mini Mondes is a children's toy brand created in November 2019. Imagined by two friends in Brittany, this brand designs and manufactures its toys in France (in the west). It prides itself on producing well locally with recycled materials. The plastic used comes from old packaging (mainly yoghurt pots).

An educational adventure

The brand was launched by marketing a mini bus with 4 figurines. It represents a family on the roads of the world. This van (already sold more than 5,000 copies!) is accompanied by travel books. At the rhythm of a new book every month, the children leave to discover the world: stories, games and even recipes. The target: children from 2 to 6 years old.

A boat sponsored by François Gabart

But the van doesn't go on the water. That's why Mini Worlds is launching a boat to the oceans. This trimaran, which will be able to take the miniatures on board, also comes with a travel logbook to discover the oceans. In these 30 pages, you'll find details of life on a boat, on the seabed and anecdotes. Sponsor of the idea (but also a young father) François Gabart contributed to the writing of this book

An all-terrain toy

To gain stability, the boat is a trimaran (of course, it floats!). Like the van, it is 100% recycled plastic, 100% French and even labelled "compostable", meaning that it can be composted at the end of its life. This boat is available for pre-order at 59.90 euros (delivery included). The first deliveries are scheduled for early November 2020.
