At a time when boaters and vacationers have taken over the beaches of the French coast, the Société Nationale des Sauveteurs en Mer is launching its photo contest #JaimeMonSauveteur.
Everyone is invited to participate in the contest by posting on the social networks of their choice - Facebook, Twitter or Instagram - a photo in public mode highlighting the SNSM's Sauveteurs en Mer and their surveillance and rescue mission.
While the association is well known to boaters, it may be less well known to vacationers. However, their mission on the beaches is just as important as at sea, guaranteeing the safety of the general public. Through this competition, the public is invited to meet the men and women who look after them.

If it is forbidden to post a photo of rescuers without their agreement or to take a picture during a surveillance and rescue race, it will be possible to publish for example a star of the SNSM or a portrait of one of the rescuers.
Thus, each week - and until September 14, 2020 - the SNSM will select a photo and publish it on its national social networks. The winner will win prizes in the colours of the SNSM.
At the end of the summer, a grand prize winner will be chosen and will receive a complete set of equipment: T-shirt, waterproof bag, insulated can, storm lighter and a backup induction battery.
