Galeon launches a range of outboard motorboats

Galeon is the specialist in houseboats over 30 feet and up to 25 meters. Until now, the range of nearly 30 models consisted only of inboard launches, with several deck plans.

In the fall of 2020, the Polish manufacturer - represented in France by French Boat Market - will launch its first range of outboard powerboats, consisting of three models of 30, 34 and 38 feet. The aim is to offer a range of dayboats over 30 feet, to follow the market trend. Indeed, for several years now, the increase in engine power has made it possible to motorize increasingly larger outboard boats.

It will feature Galeon's DNA, namely a port freeboard that will open out onto the water, as well as a large sundeck on the stern, covering both engines. This layout allows the boat's space utilization to be maximized. At the bow, the boat will have a large saloon accessible from a port side passageway.

On the first model, there is a beautiful cockpit with a U-shaped saloon on starboard and an outside galley opposite. The cockpit - also on the starboard side - will be equipped with a spacious console and two helm chairs.

Inside, the boat will offer a double cabin at the stern, in the direction of the width, a toilet and a convertible saloon at the bow. As with the rest of the range, it will be possible to personalise the boat with different types of wood and woodwork.

This American-style deck configuration is reminiscent of brands such as Sea Ray or Boston Whaler, and more recently the Jeanneau Leader 12.5 WA .
