How do I add or modify a slipway in the Guide to Launching Docks?

After boats and harbours, it is now the technical guide to slipways and ramps that you will be able to discover on the Bateaux.com social network. But for that we're counting on you...

Come and take a census of the slipways and launching ramps

Yacht-Club.com the social network of boating enthusiasts allows you to discover the Boat guide with thousands of sailboats, motorboats, semi-rigid boats and even light sailboats . You also have access to the port guide .

From now on, we are launching a major operation to survey the slipways and we're going to appeal to you. Indeed, we propose you to participate in this process by becoming the "Captain of your hold".

To do so, nothing more simple?! Do you know one or more slipways and would like to share it with the members of communauté?? Here is the procedure:

How do I count the chocks and ramps at eau??

  1. Login to Yacht-Club.com by using your identifiers or by creating your account easily and for free.

  2. In the left column click on the button Hold Guides to access the list of chocks.



  3. Click on the "Add your shim" button to define a new shim :



  4. But you can also modify an existing hold, directly on the hold's sheet

How do I fill out the formulaire??

The form to be filled in is divided into 5 parts:

  • Hold sheet (identification)
  • Geographical location
  • Technical data
  • Services available
  • Visuals

You can make changes globally by clicking on the "change" tab or on a case-by-case basis by clicking on the red wrench for each characteristic.

Choose your answer from a drop-down list or enter a free answer in the field provided.

Bilge plug

  • You will indicate here the name of the hold. If it does not have one or if you do not know it, just indicate the name of the town.
  • Add a cover photo that will be the main visual of your hold.

Geographical location

  • Specify the port of attachment of the hold
  • Detail its location (sea, river...)
  • Indicate the department and the region.
  • If the ramp is on a watercourse, the name of the watercourse

Boat slip and slipway

In this section, you will describe the hold (condition, orientation, length, width, accessibility, type of descent, etc...).

Services available

This tab concerns all local services and equipment associated with the hold.

Visuals

You can add up to 9 visuals of the hold including a map and a satellite photo.

Submit your hold

When you have finished filling out your form - you will find the filling rate at the top of the page - just click on the black arrow to return to your "Product sheet administration" area

The latter can be found in the "Pro" tab at the top right in the blue banner. You will find there all the shims created.
