Modern and aggressive lines for the Dynamiq GTT 160

The GTT 160 is the newest and 4th model in the Gran Turismo Transatlantic range, offering 35 to 50 m superyachts with a very modern look and transatlantic capability. Slim hull and attractive design are the main features of this new model.

Distinctive design

The Monegasque superyacht manufacturer, Dynamiq, has just unveiled the 4 e model of its Gran Turismo Transatlantic range, the GTT 160, a 50 m long boat. Built entirely in aluminium, this modern superyacht offers all the features that the shipyard has thought of as essential: attractive, efficient and focused on sport and well-being.

As far as the first feature is concerned, the GTT 160 stands out for its very modern and innovative design. The lines are aggressive and dynamic with a very fine bow. A feature that contrasts with the roundness of the balconies on the main deck and the helipad, which is also round and installed on the front of the main deck.

It's true that the market for 50-foot yachts and supplied and it was important for Dynamiq to offer a model that stands out from the rest. Thus, rather than maximising the interior volume - by choosing a wider hull with a shorter waterline - the yard focused on the fittings and features sought by the owners. The basic price of the GT 160 - which can be configured online - starts at 19?900?000 euros.

An arrangement for 12 people

The GTT 160 offers luxurious accommodation for up to 12 people thanks to its 6 cabins as well as crew quarters that can accommodate up to 8 people.

The main cabin is located forward of the main deck and has two fixed side balconies and a huge superstructure glazing offering an unobstructed view of the sky. On the same deck, there is also a large galley with a dining bar designed to be used by a professional chef as well as for cooking with friends.

On the upper deck there is a saloon with a 75-inch cinema screen and a bar area. Finally, the sundeck has a second steering position and huge sunbathing areas.

On the back, designer Sergei Dobroserdo also opted for an unusual design. The back deck offers a completely open area on one floor and offers a jacuzzi for 12 people. Continuing this, there is a spa area with sauna, hammam and a 40 m2 room that can be used as a gym, with a massage corner.

To complete the package, the GTT 160 houses a 21-foot annex in the forward garage and is equipped with a helipad with a maximum take-off weight of 3?000 kg.

A la carte engines

Like the other models, the GTT 160 is equipped with a fast moving hull signed by naval architect Van Oossanen and the Hull Vane foil, positioned on the back of the hull. The latter provides extra lift and reduces drag for better energy efficiency. The yacht will thus be able to reach the maximum speed of 17 knots with 6-cylinder MAN engines (537 kW). It will be possible to cross the Atlantic at a speed of 14 knots. At the economical speed of 10 knots, the GTT 160 is expected to offer a range of 4?000 miles.

For speed aficionados, it will be possible to choose the "S" version, equipped with a pair of more powerful engines, the MAN V12 - 1800 for a maximum speed of 23 knots. As an option, a hybrid system with zero-emission electric mode can provide silent cruising up to 8 knots.
