The NY24, tender or luxury daycruiser for lake navigation

The NY24 of Nerea Yacht

The new Italian shipyard Nerea Yachts has launched the NY24, a luxury tender for superyachts that will also fulfil its role as a daycruiser with its small cabin and kitchenette. Designed and furnished with luxury, this 5.75 m waterline transportable boat is more suited to a lake navigation program.

Tender or daycruiser, but luxury

Nerea Yacht was created by Dario Messina, who worked for a long time for Pershing, Riva and Ferretti. The first model is The NY24 of Nerea Yacht a 7.35 m long overall daycruiser. "By maintaining the quality of these great yacht brands, we designed a small boat, as an extension of these superyachts." explains Laura Carboni, marketing manager of the site.

Designed as a luxury tender, the NY24 is also a perfect small daycruiser with a transportable gauge (2.50 m wide, 3 tonnes, 5.75 m at the waterline). The hull and deck are built in Italy, on the Adriatic Sea. It is intended for coastal navigation, but also on lakes. "The NY24 is a very high quality product, ideal for sailing on lakes in Italy, Switzerland or Germany."

The hull has an additional volume for stability and the deck shearing is reversed, giving it a very modern look. "We tried to do something different, hence the stepped transom." . An architecture that had already been discovered on the Princess R35 and which did not inspire the Italian manufacturer.

Comfortable layout

On the interior side, there is a cabin at the front with a U-shaped bench seat, a toilet block hidden under the central cushion or a large television screen. The steering station is located on starboard and all electrical controls are centralized. The seats are made of carbon and adjustable in height and width. At the stern, the dinette with optional refrigerator, sink and grill is located on the port side. The U-shaped cockpit saloon is comfortable and has a low central table that also acts as a step. Finally, at the rear, a large sunbathing area overlooks the transom floors.

Four supports are attached to the front and rear of the cockpit to install a protective cover. For the engine, Nerea Yacht chose a sterndrive propulsion system with a Volvo Penta Diesel engine of 300 horsepower. The yard is also studying electric propulsion for inland navigation.

High-quality materials

The yard chose top-of-the-range materials - carbon for the pilot seats or ecomalta for the table and dashboard, made at the bottom of the water. The cabin descent is made of stainless steel and the hull paint replaces the usual gelcoat (which can also be chosen). The teak that adorns the front deck, cockpit and stern is optional. The finishes are of high quality and there are many qualitative details such as the integrated fender anchor, the anchor locker or the electric motor unit. "The boat has been designed in a traditional way and gives a feeling of luxury and quality."

Dealer search

While Nerea Yacht does not currently have any dealers in France, the yard has taken very positive steps. "We are targeting the northern and southern European market, as there are many lakes and it is the perfect program for the NY24."

If the site does not wish to communicate a price, it should be around 180?000 ? HT.
