Jeanneau offers a mixed program with the Merry Fisher 895 Marlin, the replacement for the 875. "This is not a boat designed for fishing only. He's more family oriented and adventurous." explains Vincent Piel, Head of the Motor Boat Product Range. It will therefore be possible to practice both sport fishing and small cruising aboard this new model presented by the Vendée shipyard as an "SUV" of the seas.
"The Merry Fisher 895 Marlin has a sporty design, with tighter lines, but also a more adventurous profile with roof bars that resemble those of a 4x4." adds Vincent.
Two cockpits for various uses
On board, there are three real spaces: a comfortable saloon in the front, a warm and bright wheelhouse and a cockpit without any fishing facilities. Indeed, the seats are folding seats to free up space when fishing and the cap has been shortened so as not to interfere with the throwing. For the first time, we find a coupe door on a Merry Fisher.
A fishing option kit allows you to equip your boat with the necessary equipment: side cockpit balconies, electric pump for washing decks with sea water, additional rod holders or even a fish cutting board.
Access to the front equipped with a comfortable L-shaped saloon (which transforms into a sunbathing area) is via a secure recessed deck to starboard, or directly from the front of the boat via a dedicated passage on the front balcony. Theavier was also deported to starboard, inspired by the Scandinavian models.
These two cockpits therefore offer two different uses: family reunion or fishing.
A warm wheelhouse
Inside, the layout is based on that of the cruising version - the Merry Fisher 895, whose V-shaped hull it already shares. The place is bright and cosy, with a saloon facing port, a galley to starboard and a helm station with a single seat and side door in front of it. There are also many storage spaces.
Under the bridge, two beautiful double cabins allow 4 people to spend the night comfortably. A closed toilet with shower completes all the facilities on the night side.
Two beautiful rear platforms frame the two outboard motors with a maximum power of 2x250 HP.
