Dragonfly 32, the sport version of an already explosive trimaran

The Dragonfly 32 comes in an Evolution version with new floats for even more performance. A version that the Danish shipyard reserves in preview for the French public.

A folding trimaran, the Dragonfly range stands out with very well finished (but also very expensive) and very marine sailboats. Fast, sensitive to the helm, the trimaran offers great sensations for its crew. Very low on the water, the crew members often see the miles run by at high speed, without any difficulty in manoeuvring.

By being quickly foldable, these boats do not take up more space in a port than a monohull of the same size. An argument when it comes to parking it, but once its floats are unfolded, the trimaran's nautical assets take on their full value.

Global launch in Paris

HelloMulti has been importing Dragonfly trimarans into France since 2017. Thanks to this distribution, which has worked well with its customers, the Danish yard saw its imports triple in 2018. Faced with the awakening of this national market, the Quorning Boats shipyard (which manufactures the Dragonfly range) decided to use the Nautic de Paris to launch its new model: the Dragonfly 32 Evolution.

Dragonfly 32 Evolution

A sporty version

The Dragonfly 32 Evolution replaces the old 32 Supreme. He wins new floats with inverted bows. In addition to the modern and aggressive aesthetics, the inverted bows offer a longer flotation time. The volume has also been increased to offer better performance in rough seas.

This boat will be equipped with a higher carbon mast (like the rest of the range) to carry more sail area (mainsail 58 m2 and genoa 29 m2). The 2 m bowsprit accommodates an asymmetrical spinnaker of 110 m2 and a zero code of 66.50 m2.

The wiser version of the Dragonfly 32 Touring (straight bows and shorter mast) is still in the catalogue.

A central hull with 2 cabins

The central hull of the 32 does not change between the 2 versions. It remains equipped with 2 independent cabins (one at the front and the second under the aft cockpit) and a saloon that can accommodate 8 people (and which also turned into a double bed). Under the square table is the daggerboard with the swivel daggerboard.

Dragonfly 32 Evolution

Offered from 332,160 euros including VAT, the Dragofly 32 Evolution is much more expensive than a monohull or even a catamaran of the same size. This price makes it a unique, exclusive product, reserved for a unique clientele. A little like the lovers of beautiful cars who fall for an unusual model.
