80 photos to share
The famous international professional sea photo competition is now ready to receive public votes to determine the overall winner of the event. 109 photos from 25 countries (a slight decrease from 137 photographers in 2017) were examined by an international jury to make a selection of 80 photos.
There are 15 French people participating, including Yann Riou, Martin Kéruzoré and Yann Riou. These include images (photos must have been taken during a sailing race) of the Volvo Ocean Race, Olympic sailing events, Clipper Race, Extreme Sailing Series, etc.
"This year again, the images presented show the complexity and beauty of sailing. This year's most prestigious events are highlighted thanks to the extraordinary work of sailing race photographers; their images reflect performance, teamwork and technology: characteristics that are dear to us at Mirabaud. We are very proud to be the historical partner of this competition", said Nicolas Mirabaud, member of the Executive Committee of Mirabaud & Cie SA and member of the international jury.

Three awards
The winning images and the best sailing and regatta photographers in the world will be revealed on October 23rd at the Yacht Racing Forum in Lorient, France. Three prizes will be awarded:
- The main price" Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image "awarded by an international jury of professional photographers, designers, etc.
- The "Yacht Racing Forum Award" presented by the 350 delegates of the Yacht Racing Forum.
- The "Public Award" awarded by the general public, via Internet voting.
