A gyroscopic champagne bucket for your evenings at sea

Tulip by Germain, a gyroscopic champagne bucket

Boat shows are an opportunity to discover many new products in the world of sailing and yachting. And in the luxury sector, innovations can sometimes be surprising. This is the case with champagne and luxury wine buckets, equipped with a gyroscopic effect system, which keeps bottles and glasses upright on all occasions.

Tulip by Germain... The name is evocative of luxury, as is its design. Launched with great fanfare on the Arcadia stand - and more particularly on the A105 -, the Tulip By Germain is a luxury champagne and wine bucket with a gyroscopic effect. Both an object of art and a technological creation, this bucket - which has required 4 years of development and has an international patent - has the particularity of keeping bottles and glasses in a vertical position when the base is in motion. It can be tilted up to 30°.

The bottles are installed in the centre of the tray while the glasses are positioned in the supports around them, which can collect all kinds of shapes.

This unique concept was developed by Germain Mari-Olive and his team. This former captain of prestigious yachts spent 20 years working with a wealthy clientele, with a culture of luxury accessories. This is how he came up with the idea of creating both an art object and a functional one.

This champagne case is made in France with traditional techniques and requires more than 800 hours of work. It is available in several versions and is totally customizable thanks to a wide range of luxury finishes - jewellery and crystalware: gold, rubies, diamonds, carbon... Who says luxury, says rarity, some models are limited to only 10 or 5 pieces! It can also be matched to the yacht's colours.

In the world of luxury, nothing is refused and some ideas are sometimes surprising..
