Scarab extends its Open range with the 255 Open - the big brother of the 195 - model declined from the 255, and which thus takes the same dimensions and the same hull. It is in the deck plan that this 25-foot model differs. Here, no bowrider, but a center console topped with a T-Top.
This sporty American jet boat (Rec Boat was bought by Bénéteau in 2014) is particularly appealing to the younger generation looking for a fun and fast boat for water sports (surfing, wakeboarding). But the Scarab 255 Open is also suitable for fishing and can be equipped accordingly, or for swimming with its swim platform (the transom that secures the cockpit opens out to the water for easy access to the sea).

The aft cockpit has a sunbathing area with removable backrests and can be adjusted to suit your needs. You can thus choose to opt for a double bench seat facing the sea or facing the console. The central console is equipped with a 3-seater bolster (with a folding central seat), a touch-sensitive table and a central steering wheel with adjustable stem, protected by a high windscreen. At the front, it features a bench seat with a toilet compartment as standard.

The foredeck receives a U-shaped bow lounge with two sun loungers (under which is an icebox) which converts into an additional sunbathing or dining area with the addition of a table. The space can also be used for fishing with the addition of a fishing seat. It is possible to disembark from the bow thanks to the integrated ladder.

The Scarab 255 Open is equipped with a Rotax® jet propulsion (like the whole range) 2x250 hp (max) and combines the fun side of a jet-ski with the versatility of a traditional boat. Its lack of propeller allows it to access shallow areas and ensures a smooth and precise navigation, but also safe, especially for the youngest. Presented as reactive, it goes from 0 to 80 km/h in 12 seconds.

The largest model in the range is available in two versions (new 2018, which is a new feature in the entire range): the G Series and the ID Series.
The G series offers models ready to sail with an optimum level of comfort: adapted engine, black and white exterior, bimini and a wide choice of complementary options. The ID (Identity) series is fully customizable with an unlimited number of options to create a unique boat. Among the options offered are, for example, the stereo option, deck LEDs, matching the colours of the upholstery, etc

The Scarab 255 Open has a sporty look and a young and modern design and is versatile. It is suitable for swimming, walking (13 people on board), board sports (wake tower) or fishing. Practical, it offers great modularity on board (sunbathing, fully clip-on backrests at the bow and stern...). With its acidulous colours, it will delight lovers of fun and gliding.
