Nodus, which has made a name for itself with its textile locking systems (T-close shackle, T-drop carabiner...) continues to develop its catalogue for boaters.
The Snake Loop is simply a Dyneema ring. It can be used as deck fittings or for rigging (running or standing rigging). Made of Dyneema SK78 (pre-stretched and sized), they are not sheathed.
These rings are characterized by a coloured overbinding. The colour coding (8 colours) corresponds to a workload. This overbinding is a laminated bonding by agglomeration, using a thermosetting resin and polyamide.
At a glance, the sailor knows at once that it is the resistance of his ring. This hook will be ideal for bastaque and forestay pulleys... but will also be efficient for making pulleys with friction rings. Nodus is developing a small connector for this purpose.
