The American shipyard Wellcraft, recently taken over by the Jeanneau Group, will be present on the Nautic 2017 (2 to 10 December 2017). This year, the shipyard is strengthening its presence by presenting 5 models, including 2 new models, compared to the 3 models exhibited in 2016.

Which boats are on display at the Wellcraft booth?

This year we will be exhibiting 5 models for Wellcraft - 4 boats on the stand and one small boat off the stand, on a space proposed by the Nautic, in the multi builder area of Hall H2-2.

We'll present 4 Fisherman, real fishing boats which as an option can be equipped to be more orientated towards yachting, with comfort elements to mix fishing and family walks. They are specific and functional boats for professional fishing, but adaptable in terms of comfort (upholstery, cooler, toilet on board...).

The newest addition will be the W 182 F, exhibited outside the stand. Today, the range is more about big boats. But with the release of this new model, we now offer a Fisherman range from 18 to 30 feet. We're now interested in smaller models and we're capitalizing on the range by expanding it.

The 302 - our largest model - is also a new model in Europe.

What are the arrangements and activities put in place to welcome visitors?

Wellcraft and Glastron, which are the two American brands of the Jeanneau Group, will share the same stand with two separate areas. Each will have its own visual identity in terms of colour and visuals, but will share the same welcome in the hall, on stand 9. They will share a common space of 371 m2.

Our dealer network will be present on the stand, both French and international, to inform visitors about the models on display.

As far as animation is concerned, the big novelty this year is the launch of a mobile application especially for the show. Hostesses will be equipped with a tablet with this application to better direct the visitor to the right dealer or salesperson closest to his place of residence, whether the latter is present on the stand or not. They will be better informed, keep in touch and accompany them in their purchasing process.

It's really new to have this digital aspect on our booth.

Is it possible to visit the boats freely or is it necessary to book in advance?

You can visit the boats freely, without the need to register beforehand.

Why do you need to come to your booth?

This year we will have more boats than in 2016, with 5 boats on display, as opposed to 3 last year. Our presence is reinforced with also more sellers. We will also have the presence of Christophe Lavigne, VP of engineering and customer service, who comes from the United States, from our plant in Cadillac, Michigan, where our boats are 100% designed. Visitors will therefore have an expert in boat design who will be able to talk to them about the design aspect.
