In the series of mooring dampers, the Bungy is atypical. It can be installed (and uninstalled) simply without having to remove the mooring line. It can therefore adapt quickly to the mooring line.
Unlike the spring or rubber boots around which the mooring line is twisted, the Bungy is positioned on the mooring line by trapping the rubber finger on it. The mooring line does not have to have a free end. It is suitable for mooring lines up to a diameter of 20 mm. The video shows how to set it up in a few seconds.
The manufacturer, a Danish company, recommends placing at least three Bungies per mooring line (but you can position many more!). It can also be used as a dampening damper.
This system is not new, but continues to operate. It received the EMAD in 1997 for its simplicity and efficiency.
You will find the Bungy at the ship's for 21? the two parts.
