Web series / Pushed by the Wind: Portugal, it continues!

Aurélien, Sarah and Nael continue their descent along the Portuguese coast. After Figueira da Foz, they introduce us to Péniché then Cascais. On the program of this vlog 10: some windsurfing sessions, a little more surfing and pedestrian visits...

After Figueira da Foz, where Sarah and Aurélien spent 6 days doing 3 sessions of surfing and windsurfing, they are now on their way to Péniche, a Portuguese town located in the Western sub-region and the second biggest fishing port in Portugal. Moored at the pontoon called "orangina" by the yachtsmen (because it is shaken by the passage of the numerous fishing boats), our couple of windsurfers continue their search for spots.

Péniche, reputed to be the "Mecca" of surfing in Portugal, was however not very welcoming for Sarah and Aurélien who were only able to practice windsurfing once, due to light winds. Only one session caught up by several surfing sessions. With Nael, they also went to visit the city that "smells like fish", through the markets and alleys.

Discovery also of the superb fortified town of Obidos, in the vicinity of Péniche. Then, direction then the spot of Guincho, in the region of Lisbon, "a mythical sport" for them, allowing to combine navigation and windsurfing.

The crew of Windthrust (Sarah's mother joined them) then went to Cascais, for a technical stop (to get some fishing gear, do a bit of tinkering) and took the opportunity to visit Lisbon before setting sail again towards the south of Portugal.
