With the Eagle 10, Brig tackles the semi-rigid cruise ship

The new Eagle 10, Brig's largest semi-rigid vehicle

Brig, the Ukrainian shipyard, which offers a wide range of RIBs for a variety of uses, is now targeting small cruises with the Eagle 10. The largest model of the brand - 9.90 m - will be equipped with a double cabin, a galley, a convivial saloon and several sunbathing areas to enjoy a long navigation with family or friends. The performance side will not be neglected, as it will have the latest Suzuki outboard: 2x350 HP!

Brig produces approximately 2,500 semi-rigid each year, through 4 ranges: Eagle, Navigator, Falcon and Falcon tender. The Ukrainian RIB brand has a range of boats from 2.75 to 7.85 m long which offer many uses: tender, pleasure, professional. In 2018, it is extending its offer by proposing the Eagle 10, a semi-rigid cruiser, which becomes its largest model, with a length of 9.90 m.

The Eagle 10 is built on a V-deep stepped hull with hypalon neoprene orca floats equipped with handles and non-slip strips. Its layout presents many new features to enable you to sail with all the equipment necessary for a short cruise.

The forward deck is occupied by a seating area in the tip that faces a sunbathing bench leaning against the console. By adding a plank in between, this space can be turned into a very large sunbathing area.

The centre console with hydraulic steering is protected by a wrap-around windscreen, offers a glove box and plenty of space for electronics. On the port side, a lockable door gives access to a cabin with a double bed (with storage under the cushions) in which you can also add chemical toilets (optional). Two small portholes located at the bow allow the space to be ventilated, but will remain low to provide light (there is interior lighting).

A double bolster (whose seat folds down for semi-upright driving) houses a galley area at the stern with a fridge on the port side, a sink and a two-burner stove (all optional). This is the first time Brig has fitted one of her RIBs with a galley.

But the novelties don't stop there. Indeed, in the cockpit, there is a saloon area with two double benches and a table on the stern. Also a first for Brig! The space is also transformed into a second sundeck (another novelty) thanks to the addition of a central structure. The cockpit table can be easily stowed under the bunk to free up space.

The Eagle 10 will also be the second model of the brand to be equipped with a dual engine. "Up until now, only the Navigator 700 could be." explains Renaud Calicis, head of Brig France. At Cannes, it will be presented in 2x300 HP, but the next versions will be offered as standard with the 2x350 HP Suzuki the largest V6 ever produced, which has just been released and which we presented to you the trial last June. Two small skirts frame the engines with a ladder to access the sea and a deck shower kit (optional).

Three engines are available: 2x250 HP/2x300 HP and 2x350 HP. The shipyard announces a maximum speed of 50 knots with 2x300 HP and a cruising speed of 30 knots.

Starting in September, it will be possible to opt for a back deck extension and a bimini (all optional).

The Eagle 10 is sold from 98,475 euros including tax in the standard version, without engine.
