In this new video, Sarah and Aurélien left Galicia behind to join Portugal. In particular a stopover in Figueira da Foz, a town known for its surf spot at the entrance to the port. We note a first night navigation, without outside help (as was the case to reach A Coruña from the port of Etel on their departure), with watches equally divided between Sarah and Aurélien, and above all, without getting sick! A first for our apprentice adventurers.
Arriving in Portugal, Aurélien and Sarah took the opportunity to do a windsurfing session, which they hadn't done for "a very long time" And for that, they headed to the aft cabin, which houses all the couple's boards, from the smallest (surf), to the biggest of SUP, including windsurfing. And for the sails, it's the front bathroom that serves as a hold: kitesurf windsurfing sails, gennaker and spinnaker.
For several days, Sarah and Aurélien enjoyed themselves on the Figueira da Foz spot. After a windsurfing session, on a spot "that kills", Sarah goes surfing (with paddle), filmed by Aurélien and "his assistant" Nael, then comes the time to exchange roles.
This stopover, after 15 days of sailing, is also an opportunity for the crew to " Driven by the Wind " to take care of Maloya (their boat) and their business: laundry, market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables...
